These two have more than just a first name in common. Both Brittanys are from Augusta and studied interior design at Georgia Southern University. For years they have shared an office space, although, until recently, the designers worked individually. "We were at market about a year ago," Brittany Cason says, "and decided to go into business together over a few cocktails." In March, the friends opened Ellie Winston Antiques & Interiors. When their sign first went up on Monte Sano Avenue, the store's name, "Ellie Winston," had the whole town buzzing; locals wondered who is this new designer? "We named the store after our best friends," Brittany Patrick says, " �Ellie' is Brittany Cason's boxer and �Winston' is my German Shorthaired Brittany Spaniel." The dogs are not only the store's namesake, the designers jokingly add, "they're also two of its best employees."
