John Krueger Goes Behind The Music.

 John writes about what he knows. “It’s all honest,” the 20-year-old singer/songwriter says. Many of the songs on John’s third release, Around The Room And Up The Stairs, are about love. “It’s what the Beetles sang about,” he says, “and they knew what they were doing.” This solo acoustic singer is the local opener for the Rock Fore! Dough concert on April 8. “I’m excited,” he says. “It’s the biggest thing I’ve done so far.” John lives and works in Augusta, but is saving up to move to Nashville in January. “I don’t like having an 8:30-5 job,” he says, “I’m counting on music to work out.”

What he likes about wearing a skirt: “Every once in a while, maybe it’s good to be a pretty lady.”
